There is no large sandy beach, but several places to swim in the sea.

We are centrally located, just 1.5 blocks from the water taxi terminal, down the street of restaurants, tours and 1 min. walk from the ocean.

There are 2 options:

First option: Take a taxi from the airport to the water taxi downtown; we can send our driver to meet your flight and he will then drop you at the water taxi terminal; it’s about 25 min. drive. We would need your flight details for that.

There are two water taxi companies with equally good service. You can check out the timetables on https://sprinter.bz/ and https://belizewatertaxi.com/schedule/. The journey is about 45 min.

Second option: fly with www.tropicair.com or www.mayaislandair.com. After 10 min. flight, you will land on the small Caye Caulker airport.

The accommodation is located on Front Street, South of the water taxi terminal.

If you arrive with the water taxi: by foot, it’s 5 min. walk; cross the basketball field (San Pedro Belize express) or go straight ahead (Caribbean Sprinter), turn left on Front street, walk past Hibisca Restaurant, Amor Y Cafe, and Pasta Per Caso; Amanda’s Place is at the next corner on the right. There is a sign outside.
If you arrive at the airport: it’s 25 min. walk; take the street in front of the airport straight to Aventurera street, turn right and walk until you cross Front street (Avenida Hicaco); turn right and Amanda’S Place will be to your right.

We can book a local taxi for you that can pick you up at the water taxi terminal or at the airport. Just ask us for it.

Snorkeling and diving are the most popular activities, but fishing, paddling, kayaking, bike riding, walking are other possibilities to spend your time. And of course, don’t forget relaxing around the pool at Amanda’s Place after your activities. In the evening, restaurants and bars will offer good food, drinks and live music.

We have the Belize Dollar. BZD. It is pegged to the US dollar at 2BZD:1USD. There are 2 ATM on Caye Caulker, which accept foreign cards. US currency is widely accepted and your change will come back in BZD dollars. Credit cards are accepted almost everywhere.

Yes, there are several places where you can rent bikes or golf carts from some hours to some days. Amanda’s Place does not provide bikes as it is centrally located and everything is at walking distance.

Check-in times – We are happy to check you in once the house is ready. This can vary, so please check with us if you wish to check in before the standard 3pm time. Check-out times – The ideal check-out time is 10am.

We provide bed linen, towels and pool towels.

Yes, the swimming pool is shared between the 4 accommodations (max 12-14 pers.)

There are 2 pharmacies on the island.

Yes, there are doctors and a health center.
